Toyota Industries Corporation (“Toyota Industries”) announced that Toyota Material Handling Japan (TMHJ) has resumed shipments of 1.0-ton to 3.5-ton gasoline engine lift trucks in Japan on August 5, 2026, following the submission of new applications for type approval for specified special vehicles based on the Act on Regulations for Emissions from Non-Road Vehicles (Off-Road Act) after shipments were suspended on March 17, 2023 due to violations of laws and regulations in domestic certification relating to emissions performance of lift truck engines.

Toyota Industries sincerely apologizes to its customers for the significant inconvenience caused by the long-term suspension of shipments, and will continue to work toward the resumption of shipments for other models while receiving guidance from the relevant authorities.

TMHJ will continue working to deliver products that contribute to solving challenges at customers' logistics sites.
