The Story of Sakichi Toyoda
Sakichi Toyoda, the founder of Toyota Industries Corporation, possessed a strong ambition to contribute to society from his days as a youth. He had devoted his 63-year-long life to invention.
Toyota Industries manufactures mainly cast iron and aluminum engine parts, such as cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, camshafts, and crankshafts. These parts are used in engines produced by Toyota Motor Corporation as well as Toyota Industries' own engines. In addition, we also manufacture the cast iron parts for the textile machinery that we produce (the side frame for looms) as well as a hydraulic pressure control valve for lift trucks, among others.
