Toyota Industries Corporation (President: Akira Onishi;“Toyota Industries”) has determined “CSR Materiality”, which we have to work on, toward the realization of a sustainable society.

Since it started, Toyota Industries has constantly endeavored to resolve social issues under the Toyoda Precepts, which is our corporate creed, by providing useful products and services through our business activities and engaging in social contribution activities. In the Vision 2030, which was formulated last year, Toyota Industries has made it clear that we will contribute to making the earth a better place to live, enrich lifestyles, and promote a compassionate society.

These our approaches correspond with the objective of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which were adopted at the United Nations Summit in 2015, and we believe that contributing to the realization of a sustainable society through the corporate activities is one of the important missions of each company, and is considered as essential for enhancing corporate value. The CSR Materiality determined this time defines particularly important issues that we should address with priority from among the various issues surrounding modern society. By clarifying the Materiality internally and externally, we will accelerate our initiatives that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.

Toyota Industries will continue to strive to provide value that serves the development of society in order to achieve sustainable growth in harmony with society.
