Status of the Toyota Industries Group following the Pacific Coast of Tohoku Earthquake
Toyota Industries Corporation extends its deepest condolences to those affected by the Pacific Cost of Tohoku Earthquake of March 11, 2011.

The effects of the earthquake on Toyota Industries Group is outlined below:
  1. Damage
    1) Employee Casualties
       There are no casualties reported at present.
      
    2) Impact on Production Activities
      No major damage has occurred to buildings or facilities. At present, however, all production activities at Toyota Industries Corporation (parent company) are suspended with the exception of certain plants.

  2. Impact on Performance
    Toyota Industries is currently investigating the effects of the earthquake on performance. If any material impact on performance is found or estimated, it will be disclosed promptly.
