Employee Education

In order to increase employee awareness of social contribution activities and to encourage their positive participation in volunteer programs, Toyota Industries provides employees with training opportunities, such as new employee training and newly appointed manager training. The aim of this training is to increase their understanding of the corporate social responsibilities and the meaning of social contribution activities.
In addition, information about volunteer activities and recruitment for these activities is provided to all employees through Toyota Industries' intranet.

Students of the Toyota Industries Vocational School Get On-Site Training at a Welfare Facility

Students of this vocational school experience welfare activities first-hand and learn about the working conditions for people with disabilities through on-site training at a welfare facility. This training is called "unforgettable volunteer activities". In FY 2007, 111 students experienced volunteering at the "Ohisama" and "Akebi-en "welfare facilities.

Providing Information on Volunteering

In order to support our employees' voluntary participation in social contribution activities, information about volunteer activities, lectures, and short courses, as well as recruitment for volunteer activities are provided to all employees through the company intranet.
