Promotional Structure

The Environmental Committee of Toyota Industries is chaired by the President and is responsible for determining the company's environmental policies and plans, as well as confirming the results of environmental initiatives. In addition, two subcommittees (the Product Technology and Production Environment subcommittees)-each chaired by a director of the board-have been established to reinforce strategic action. Each division implements specific initiatives in accordance with the policies and plans of the Environmental Committee to ensure definite results are achieved.
